According to the accused, his mobile phone was stolen and he even registered a case at the police station. As a result, a case was filed at Bandra Police Station on Thursday (November 7), launching a formal investigation into the serious threat made against the actor. Mumbai Police reached Chhattisgarh's capital Raipur in search of the man who threatened to kill the actor. The man accused of issuing the threat is Mohammad Faizan Khan, a lawyer by profession. The individual under whose name the mobile number was registered, clarified that he had lost his phone on November 2. He had already reported the theft to the local authorities in Raipur before the threat call was made. In an interview with CNN News 18, the accused explained, “Someone misused my lost number and made this threat call. Mumbai police came today morning and recorded my statement. Mumbai police told me that a threat call has been made from your number, I told them I lost my mobile on November 2 and a complaint has been made in the local station."
The caller, who identified himself as ‘Hindustani,’ claimed to be standing outside Shah Rukh Khan's residence, Mannat, at Bandstand. "I am calling Shah Rukh from Mannat Bandstand.
