In 1992, Shah Rukh Khan made an awesome start in Bollywood with impressive performances in Deewana and Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. We all knew then that a star has arrived, but we never imagined the heights of superstardom that Shah Rukh Khan would transcend in the years to come. Now as he completes 26 years in the industry, winning over uncountable fans over countries and creating his own legacy in the nepotism-laden Bollywood, it is an achievement and inspiration for every outsider who wants to make it big here.

Shah Rukh Khan himself sees this milestone with a philosophical overview, as he shared his feelings on Twitter. He wrote, "Tomorrow will be exactly half a lifetime of being ‘others’. Expressing love, happiness, sadness, dancing, falling & flying. Hope I hav touched small bits of ur hearts & hope I can do so for the whole lifetime..." Trust SRK to make it sound really heart-felt, while expressing a gamut of expressions.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan's first movie was neither Deewana or Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. It was a Hinglish telefilm called In Which Annie Gives It To Those Ones, made by Arundhati Roy, that came out in 1986 where SRK made his debut. He had only two scenes in the film. He will be next seen in Zero, that is due to release on December 21.
