Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif's last film, Zero, showed dismayed performance at the box office and amid critics. Since then, King Khan has been taking a lot of time to pick and choose the script of his next film. In recent interviews, he also mentioned how nothing is really touching his heart as of now. However, the latest buzz is that these two stars will be next seen in Amitabh Bachchan starrer Satte Pe Satta remake, directed by Farah Khan. Shah Rukh Khan to Appear on David Letterman’s Show My Next Guest Needs No Introduction to Promote Netflix Original Bard of Blood?.

Bollywood film critic Sumit Kadel, wrote on his Twitter account, "#SattePeSatta remake featuring SRK is on cards as per strong hearsay in trade. Farah Khan might direct it. All rumours until things get official." Check out the tweet below.

Now, we honestly don't know whether this is good news or a bad one. While people are totally in love with SRK and also his chemistry with Katrina, the audience is also pining for something new from him. If Shah Rukh Khan gives a nod to this project, this will be his second attempt to rehash a Bachchan film after Don. The comparisons are inevitable.

On the other hand, it has been quite a few years since SRK-Farah collaborated, after giving out films like Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om and Happy New Year. Farah had recently revealed that she has an idea for Main Hoon Na 2. She told IANS, "I hope and pray that it is made because I have an idea for it. It all depends if Shah Rukh (Shah Rukh Khan)... he needs to be wanting to do that right now." Well, Farah, you've got SRK now! How about giving us an equally entertaining sequel than rehashing the iconic film?
