Amitabh Bachchan will be seen next in 2019 in Badla. As the name suggests, it is a revenge thriller that is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It is reportedly the official remake of the 2016 Spanish thriller film Contratiempo. Sujoy Ghosh has given Bollywood one of its best mystery thrillers in Kahaani (in which Mr Bachchan had sung a song for in Ekla Cholo Re), so we are quite excited about this one. Joining Amitabh Bachchan in the cast is his PINK co-star Taapsee Pannu. Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar to Play World’s Oldest Sharpshooters in a Yet-Untitled Film.
Interestingly, Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing the film, though, the actor is not having a role to play in Badla (unless, we have a surprise appearance). So when Shah Rukh Khan took to Twitter to warn Amitabh Bachchan that he is all ready to take Badla on him, we knew what's up! This is what Shah Rukh Khan had tweeted in the morning:
