Twitterati is abuzz with the opinions regarding the Citizenship Amendment Act and the violence projected by Delhi Police against the students of Jamia Millia Islamia University. The Bollywood celebs are slowly opening up on the whole issue, either taking bold stands or a slight diplomatic one. The latest celeb to join the bandwagon was singer, Shaan. He posted a series of tweets regarding the current political situation in the country. In one of the tweets posted by him, he wrote, "I personally feel the Need to check illegal Infiltration, as well as give shelter to those who have no where to go. And so NRC and CAA make sense. But In Democracy when you make a law that Decides based on Religion ... it’s bound to Devide the people. We cannot let that happen."

In another tweet, he also asked the 'youth' to 'be more aware'  saying, " but the most important 2 bits I want to share is for the Youth... to be more aware... stop propagating without investigating... and STOP VIOLENCE!!!
