In a sad turn of events, Bollywood singer Shaan was recently attacked with stones and paper balls during his singing concert in Assam. While he was performing at Sarusajai stadium in Guwahati on October 28, he sang a Bengali song which caused a stir. The geopolitical tensions between the two states was the cause behind this attack as the fans yelled at him saying 'This is Assam, not Bengal'. Shaan who was still on the stage said, "Don't make this political. Never do this with an artist."

Shaan later took Twitter to speak on the issue, while replying to a fan who asked him about the incident. The 46-year-old singing sensation wrote, "Just for the records ...loved my Assam Tour!! Saw the most fascinating sights...made new friends..had huge turnouts at every concert.. Over one unfortunate incident it would be VeryWrong to Tarnish this Beautifull State!!! Whatever happened was in the heat of the moment." Check out the pictures and videos of the concert here. #MeToo in Bollywood: Every Word Said And Written About Anu Malik is TRUE Says Alisha Chinai.
