Secret Superstar China Review: Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim’s Movie Gets Rave Reviews By Chinese Media

Aamir Khan- Zaira Wasim’s Secret Superstar is travelling beyond borders successfully. The social drama not only won the Indian audience but also the Chinese fans. After blockbusters like PK and Dangal, Aamir has become a well-know face in China. After Secret Superstar released there, it got expected reviews and collections. The story was quite relatable and the fans in China could not stop themselves from hitting the theatres. The Chinese media is also going gaga over the film and teh film is getting showered with positive reviews.

An excerpt from a Chinese daily reads, “India’s energetic and freewheeling style of cinema can offer a new way of telling a story, not least because the concerns of the domestic market lead to a wilful disregard of genre restraints.”

“Stunningly, Wasim holds her own adroitly on screen against the legendary Khan, who gracefully works hard to avoid upstaging her. His feisty and obnoxious take on a musician, while a bit caricatured, adds some lighter moments.”

The words used to describe the film of the Superstar Khan is enough for us to understand how it has managed to gain the love from people. Meanwhile, another hindi film which is Irrfan Khan- Saba Qamar starrer Hindi Medium is gaining a lot of appreciation at the Chinese ticket windows. The film managed to garner Rs 150 crores just in a week. It has reportedly claimed the second highest first-day opening for an Indian film in the country following 'Secret Superstar'. We won’t be surprised if the movie also garners similar response from the audience in the neighboring country just as Secret Superstar.
