Savdhaan India Host Sushant Singh Slams Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane for Reacting Too Late to Vikas Bahl Sexual Harassment Row
Speculations are rife that Phantom former owners decided to part ways as a result of sexual assault allegations against Vikas Bahl.
As we know, filmmakers Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena, who joined hands in making Phantom in 2011, decided to part ways and dissolve their production company ahead of molestation allegations against Vikas Bahl. Now, speculations are rife that it was a result of the assault allegations, while the former co-owners haven't made any such claims. However, Savdhaan India - Kisse Anokhe host Sushant Singh took to the micro-blogging site to slam former Phantom co-owners. The actor wrote on Twitter, "Read the full article. I am disgusted. You enabled this scum for three and a half years, you don’t get to be a Hero now by saying you’ve shut Phantom because of this. Bullshit. And I don’t care whether anyone gives me work after this or not. फ- off."

For the uninitiated, a woman employee at Phantom Films, which had Vikas Bahl as one of the partners along side Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena, had levelled allegations of molestation against Bahl. She had said that Bahl had behaved inappropriately during a trip to Goa. The report had also suggested that Phantom founders, despite knowing the truth for almost two years, didn’t do much about it. In, fact Bahl continued to harass her until she finally quit the company. Watch this space for further updates.
