If you thought Karan Johar’s tryst with nepotism ended,, you have got it wrong! This morning, Karan Johar took us to surprise with making the BIG announcement that Sara Ali Khan has been finalized as Ranveer Singh’s leading lady in Simmba. While most of us are more than excited to see Ranveer and Sara pair up onscreen, some people cannot stop accusing Karan of nepotism yet again.
Tweeples have hailed accusations at KJo for casting Sara Ali Khan, who comes from a filmy background. Here’s how Twitter has reacted to the news of Sara being paired opposite Ranveer in Simmba.
One user said: "No offence met towards Sara though, I am sure she must be good....but so are others coming from a not so priveleged class..KJo..for every 10 debuts given to star kids, you should give a chance to one outsider too..(sic)".
Hahaha...the pall bearer of nepotism is at it again...no offence met towards Sara though, I am sure she must be good....but so are others coming from a not so priveleged class..KJo..for every 10 debuts given to star kids, you should give a chance to one outsider too...

While the other one asked, "How much nepotism is too much for you?"
How much of nepotism will be too much for you?

This isn’t the first time when Twitterati has slammed the filmmaker calling him out on the micro-blogging site. Karan has fallen prey to innumerous trolls be it for nepotism or for his sexual orientation. But he has always managed to give it back to trolls. We wonder if this time too, Karan will give a befitting response to them.
Talking about Simmba, it is going to be an action comedy which sees Ranveer Singh in the role of a cop. And with Rohit Shetty's direction, we know we will get to see some over the top action. The film will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. It is an official remake of Telugu super hit starring N T Rama Rao Jr and Kajal Aggarwal.
For now, Ranveer is prepping for Gully Boy which also has Alia Bhatt in the lead role. As for Sara, she is going to be making her Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath and we cannot wait to see her set the screens on fire!
Coming back to Simmba, we think Ranveer and Sara will share a crackling chemistry! What do you guys have to say about this jodi? Tell us in the comments below...
