Sara Ali Khan on Paparazzi Frenzy around Brother Taimur: I Don’t Think There Is Anything Anybody Can Really Do about It
Sara first clarified how her parents made efforts back in the day to keep her away from all this as much as possible.
Sara Ali Khan is all set to become a star after the release of her debut film Kedarnath on December 7. The daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh gained widespread popularity on social media years before even it was announced that she'd be an actress. Paparazzi had started following her wherever she went. Well, the frenzy is much more intense and premature for her half-sibling Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi. Son of Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan is the most famous baby on the internet. Yes, that sentence exists in the world of Indian paparazzi. Sara was talking to Rajeev Masand for CNN -News 18, where she talked about the paparazzi frenzy.
Sara first clarified how her parents made efforts back in the day to keep her away from all this as much as possible. "This is part of the reason that going to Columbia University was as important to me as it was. I needed to be away from this world a little bit, sometimes. In order to get real. Because it can distort your mind a little bit. These Diwali parties and events - they were all alien to me till I graduated. So, my parents did really try to make an effort for me to have a normal life."
But she agrees that Taimur is facing the consequences of changing times. She added, "But with Taimur, times are different. Times have changed. I don't think there is anything anybody can really do about it. I think there is only not much point in pondering over things that are out of your control."
When asked if, just like her and her brother Ibrahim, Taimur might also be living the boarding school life, Sara reacted in an affirmative. "For sure, I think so. My father and Kareena will probably do that. Because my father was always extremely particular about education and upbringing. And I don't see that changing anytime soon. You know I think my father and Kareena are very cool people. They will manage it. They will have to explain the situation to him [Taimur]. They will have to explain to him the frenzy and I don't think it will get to his head. In any case, there is nothing we can do about it," she said.
Sara will be seen sharing the screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath. Just two weeks after the release of this film, her second one will also hit the theatres. On December 28, Simmba will release in which she will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh.
