For all those of you who had been waiting to see Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan on the big screen together, you might be in for a bad news. As per a report in BollywoodLife, Sara has apparently backed out from the project. And if you're thinking that the reason is Kartik Aaryan, since he hasn't been reciprocating to Sara's constant 'cute' comments on him, you've got it wrong. Apparently, the actress has turned down Imtiaz Ali because she has some issues with the script. While that could be one of the reasons, we have a strong feeling that it is Kartik who is to be blamed for this! Now, why is that, if you may ask... Secondly, Sara has been going all out about her crush on Kartik but he hasn't been been acknowledging it let alone responding to her statements! Besides, he has now started hanging out with Ananya, who is one of Sara's closest friends. That's obviously going to leave Sara furious even if she doesn't express it! So, we kinda understand where you're coming from, Sara! Dear Sara Ali Khan, It's High Time You Stop Obsessing About Kartik Aaryan.

However, these are mere speculations and we'd like for Sara herself to give us some clarity on this. Besides Sara and Kartik, Imtiaz was to cast Saif Ali Khan as the actress' father in the movie and that got fans pretty excited to see them play the on screen father- daughter duo. But now, with Sara stepping down as the lead actress, that seems like a distant dream.
