Sanju: Ranbir Kapoor and Rajkumar Hirani Recreate The Iconic Motorcycle Scene From Sanjay Dutt's Lage Raho Munna Bhai Poster
Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor have recreated that popular bike scene from the Lage Raho Munnabhai poster, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi.
Ranbir Kapoor is all set to exalt us with a predictably incredible performance, as he steps in the shoes of Sanjay Dutt in the biopic, Sanju. Directed by Dutt's close friend and film-maker Rajkumar Hirani, the movie will narrate the interesting events in the life of one of the most controversial actors in the industry. From his early drug phase to his debut with Rocky to his rise in Bollywood and his eventual arrest and imprisonment for the illegal arms possession, Sanju looks to cover every patchy incident in Sanjay Dutt's life. And yes, we will also see Ranbir recreate some of Sanjay Dutt's famous movies, one of them being the Munnabhai series.
We have seen a glimpse of that in the trailer of Sanju, when we saw Ranbir's face morphed onto Sanjay Dutt's in a scene from Munna Bhai, with Arshad Warsi also seen along with him. Now director Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor, along with writer Abhijat Joshi, have recreated that popular bike scene from the Lage Raho Munnabhai poster, featuring Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Balan and Arshad Warsi. The photo-op was done at Rajkumar Hirani's office.
Sanju also features an ensemble cast with Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala playing Dutt's parents, the late Sunil and Nargis Dutt. Dia Mirza plays his wife, Maanyata, while Sonam Kapoor plays one of his first loves. Vicky Kaushal plays Dutt's best friend, and Anushka Sharma his biographer. Sanju is scheduled to release on June 29.
