Sanju Movie Released: Makers Retain the Jail 'Toilet' Scene Despite Complaints Against It

Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju has finally released today. After a lot of buzz around the trailer, the film had to be one of the most awaited ones of 2018. Ranbir's uncanny resemblance with Sanjay Dutt and his mannerisms borrowed perfectly by RK, helped the trailer receive a massive positive response. However, there is one scene in the trailer that disturbed many and some of them even took objections against it. The over-flowing toilet scene in the jail. (Watch the trailer below if you do not recollect it). So, a complaint was filed against the makers for showing the jails in a bad light. However, turns out that the is very much present in the movie.
The complaint letter mentions that the film shows the jails of India in a bad light, which might 'spoil the name of the country worldwide' for the sake of the filmmakers' benefits. They also threatened to put a stay on the release of the film if the scene is not deleted or no action is taken against it. Check out the pictures of the complaint letter below.

Clearly, the makers did not give in to the threats and continued to retain the scene in the cinema. The movie has got positive reviews, especially for the stellar act of Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Paresh Rawal. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
