We don’t even know where to start with this! Is it even Ranbir Kapoor? The actor’s uncanny resemblance to Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ is mind boggling. Since the biopic on Sanjay Dutt’s controversial life was announced, everyone was thrilled and scared at the same time. Thrilled, because it was Ranbir Kapoor, one of the finest actors, who has been roped in. Scared, because again, it was Ranbir Kapoor who is roped in, the one who does not look anyhow like Sanju baba. However, the teaser and this recent poster has blown our mind once again! Ranbir Kapoor fits perfectly in the shoes of the loved star and we are glad that he was chosen for the part.

The tika on his forehead, the glaring dry eyes and the white mustache-beard look, all of it is exactly like Sanjay Dutt. Earlier, in the teaser, we also saw Ranbir mimicking Dutt’s mannerisms aptly. He also has done a brilliant job when it comes to the deep voice and the actor’s dialect. For now, like Ranbir says, ‘kursi ki peti bandh lijiye’, as here is the brand-new poster of Sanju:

Talking about the title of the movie, the filmmaker earlier shared in an interview, “One of the titles was Aisa Hi Hoon. Anything you attach with a name in a biopic is like an adjective. Even if you say Aisa Hi Hoon or Sarphira, either you are glorifying him or attacking him. One thing all of us were clear about was that we wanted a neutral title. Dutt seemed a little harsh.” Hence, Sanju! So, now we are totally convinced about Ranbir as Sanjay Dutt and can’t wait for the film already! The film is all set to release on June 29 this year.
