Worldwide, the flick has entered the Rs 500 crore club already! It is important to note that despite being a non-festival release, the movie managed to do the unimaginable.

Meanwhile, there have been allegations that the film was an attempt to ‘white-wash’ the public image of Dutt. On this, Sanjay reacted during in a recent interview saying, "I just want to say that Munna Bhai was already made, that avatar was already out. I don't think anyone would spend Rs 30-40 crore to change his image. That is too much of an amount. I have told the truth and the truth has been accepted by India, and the box office collection shows that.”
After the failure of Jagga Jasoos at the box office, RK’s hopes were pinned on this film. He took immense efforts for the transformation and imbibe Dutt’s mannerisms and voice modulations. All that effort is totally visible on the silver screen easily making him the best performer of 2018. What are your thoughts on Sanju?
