Sanjay Leela Bhansali is Likely To Announce His Next Film on Padmaavat's First Anniversary and We Seriously Hope It's Not Ranveer-Deepika Again!
Who would you like to see in next Bhansali film?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali gave us one of the biggest blockbusters of 2018 in the form of Padmaavat. Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer this period drama set a bench mark for all those who are attempting to create historical dramas next. While it saw its own share of controversies, the movie successfully managed to release on January 25 last year and the rest is history. Why we are telling you this is, there are reports that SLB might now announce his next film on the first anniversary of Padmaavat. Shahid Kapoor Opens About His RIFT With Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The film ruled the box office game and also won accolades and appreciation from the mass and critics. Since then, there is substantial amount of curiosity over his next outing. However, the director has been mum on the whole subject and even on various speculations.
There were reports that he might bring together Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan in his next mega film, along with Deepika Padukone. Then came of the rumors of Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma being roped in his film. However, the stars denied the same. Hence, who will be his next lead stars is still a huge suspense.
Whoever it might be, but we genuinely hope that it is not Ranveer and Deepika again! Don't get us wrong, we do love their pair and their on-screen chemistry. They were seen back to back in three Bhansali films namely Ram Leela-Goliyon Ki Rasleela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. But now, we would like to see something new to the table by the filmmaker. A fresh cast with a new kind of genre would work wonders, especially when someone like Bhansali works on it.
Also, there are many stars in the line who crave to be in a mega Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie so why not give them a chance? Speaking of DeepVeer, it's high time we saw them in heart-wrenching sagas and now we would like to watch them in an out-and-out rom-com or some different genre. What do you think?
