Sanjay Dutt has never denied the fact that his parents, Sunil Dutt and Nargis, were his pillars. Especially, when Baba got embroiled in the 1993 Bomb Blast case that went on for years. He even served his sentence in prison for his involvement in the Mumbai blasts. Though his father, Sunil and his entire family tried to help him out or get him out of it, they were unable to. Sunil passed away one year before Sanjay completed his jail sentence, on 25th May 2005. Baba took to Instagram to post an old picture of himself with his father and wrote, "Wish you could see me as a free man. Love you... Miss you [sic]"

In fact, a biopic on Sanjay's life will also release on 29th June 2018 called Sanju. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Sanjay Dutt in Sanju and the teaser already got fans pretty excited. The Rajkumar Hirani directed movie will show all the phases of Baba's life, right from his highs to his lows. Ranbir went through a lot of physical transformation for the movie and it's pretty evident from the posters and the teaser. In fact, audience was amazed at how much Ranbir actually looks like Sanju Baba in the movie.
