Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra starrer 'Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar' has been delayed by six months. The makers recently gave an official statement citing the weather issues near the Indo-Nepal border. They also added that they did not want Dibaker Banarjee's Sandeep aur Pinky Faraar to be shortchanged on edit time. YRF and the filmmaker decided it to push the release date further. However, DNA reports the real reason why the movie actually got delayed! If we go by these reports, Aditya Chopra is not really happy with the rough cut of the flick and hence the cast will have to re-shoot the portion.

A source close to the film, told the publication, "Aditya Chopra is reportedly not too happy with the rough cut. So, he has asked the team to reshoot a few portions and re-edit it. Now, Arjun and Pari will have to give fresh dates for the additional shoot. Hence, the movie’s release has been rescheduled to March 3 next year."

Meanwhile, the same pair will also be seen in Vipul Shah's Namaste England next. The makers announced the release date as Dussehra this year. Thus, this makes it a double work for the Ishaqzaade co-stars to reshoot the portion for SAPF. Earlier, Banarjee was quoted saying, "I feel this is my first film all over again, at least in terms of the excitement with the material. Sandeep and Pinky bring to screen the two Indias that are forever clashing. I want the audience not to lose a second of that. We finished the shoot one month late because of the intense weather conditions on the Indo-Nepal border."
