The teaser of Sam Bahadur, based on Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw was released on Friday, showcasing Vicky Kaushal in the lead role. Vicky brings to life the fearless patriot and the first Field Marshal of India. Teaser of the film also features glimpses of Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Sanya plays the role of Sam Manekshaw's wife, Silloo, while Fatima Sana Shaikh stars as the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, in the film. Vicky broke his silence on the significance of normalizing such clashes during a teaser launch. The concept of releasing multiple films on the same day, or "clashes," is not entirely new in the film industry. He feels, this practice can lead to healthy competition and often results in better films, as filmmakers strive to create high-quality content to attract audiences. He stated that releasing multiple films on the same day can indeed create an environment where different types of films can thrive, allowing for diversity in storytelling and catering to a wide range of audience preferences. Vicky suggested that embracing the idea of releasing multiple films on the same day aligns with the dynamic and competitive nature of the film industry, where innovation and adaptation are keys to success.

Speaking of it at the teaser launch of Sam Bahadur, Vicky said, “We have to build an atmosphere where multiple films can work on the same day. Given today’s scenario, the excitement that the the audiences have, I think, if they resonate with two films and both the films are good, both can work.
