One of the most awaited movies in Bollywood is Rakesh Sharma Biopic. Since the project has been announced, big names like Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra have been linked to it. Earlier, it was reported that Aamir and PeeCee would be seen in major roles in this space drama. However, now it is almost confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will step into the shoes of Rakesh Sharma. Also, it turns out that King Khan has asked for Mr Perfectionist’s help while going ahead with the project tentatively titled as 'Salute'.

As per the reports in DNA, a source close to the development said, “King Khan has asked Aamir to help him out with the research he did for the film when he was supposed to do it. Knowing what a perfectionist Aamir is, he must have done detailed research and SRK will only benefit from that.”

SRK has decided to give himself ample of time to prep up for the role before he commences the shoot. The dimpled actor will probably finish shooting for Aanand L Rai’s Zero by May. He will only take up the biopic in September. A source earlier told a publication, “SRK will wrap Zero by April end, after which he will be busy for the next three months prepping up for his character in Salute. He will be doing his own research with his team and studying the nuances to play the astronaut. That’s why he’s taken a three-month break in between to devote himself fully to the biopic.”

This will be another SRK movie in the league of Chak De and Swades. Now that both the superstars are so keen about the project, we can expect to get some magical experience on the silver screen.
