Salman Khan's Security Beefed Up After Police Fear Attack On His Life - Read Deets

We had earlier reported about how Salman Khan's life is in danger after several threats were issued by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Some time back, Haryanvi police arrested wanted shooter Sampat Nehra, who was revealed to have taken to kill the Bollywood superstar. While Salman Khan fans can take a sigh of relief at this, there is still a matter of concern that three of Nehra's known aides are still on the run and could attack Salman any time.

In a report in DNA, a police officer at the request of anonymity told the publication, "Three of his sharp shooters – Raju, Akshay and Ankit – are on the run and as of now we do not have their location or an idea about their whereabouts. These men pose potential danger to Salman Khan. Due to this we made elaborate arrangements and changed the vehicles in which Sampat was being taken at regular intervals. The security was also beefed up so that the gangsters are unable to carry out their actions.”

Later in an interview to Mid-Day, Salman Khan's father Salim Khan confirmed the security detail for the star has been beefed up. He revealed, "There is added security for Salman, who has, in any case, always had a good team of security personnel deployed for him. It [threat] is not much of a concern [for the family]. We are only worried about his safety, and that is being taken care of. We have faith in the Mumbai police, and they are doing their job well. This is not the first time that Salman has encountered threats. Everyone is concerned about safety, but work can’t stop."

Salman Khan is quite busy these days with the promotions of Race 3, that is due to release on June 15.
