Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 Goes on Floors in Indore; Actor Begins Shoot With Prabhudheva – View Pic

Dabangg 3, the much-awaited third instalment of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's most famous franchise Dabangg featuring Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead, has started rolling in Indore, Madhya Pradesh today. Salman took to the micro-blogging site to announce the news by sharing a video while on the flight to Indore on Sunday. He wrote, "Back in our birthplace for #Dabangg3 shoot @arbaazkhanofficial." Now, an hour ago, Salman posted a picture with Prabhudheva and wrote, "Day1.... #dabangg3 @arbaazSkhan @PDdancing @Nikhil_Dwivedi" Let's not miss Chulbul Pandey's sunglasses in the picture, that is slung over the back collar of Salman’s shirt. The super-hit cop franchise's third instalment marks the Superstar’s collaboration with director Prabhu Deva after 10 years. Speaking of Dabangg 3 cast, reports suggest Sonakshi Sinha will reprise the role of Rajjo in Dabangg 3, while Gold actress Mouni Roy will be playing one of Salman's previous romantic interests, who will appear in the flashback scenes. The actress will reportedly have a screen time of just about 15-20 minutes in the third franchise. Helmed by Prabhudheva, Dabangg 3 is more like a prequel that will trace Salman's character Chulbul Pandey’s journey of becoming the Robinhood of his area.

Even film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share a picture of the Muhurat clap and wrote, "Shoot begins today… Salman Khan returns as Chulbul Pandey in #Dabangg3… Directed by Prabhu Dheva."

On the professional front, Salman will soon be seen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, which is scheduled to hit theatres around Eid on June 5, this year. Meanwhile, Sonakshi, who was last seen in Mudassar Aziz's Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns, the sequel of the 2016 sleeper hit Happy Bhag Jayegi, is currently promoting her upcoming release, Kalank, which is set to release on April 17.
