Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma may be close to Priyanka Chopra, but the man himself is not ready to forgive her. Priyanka Chopra was roped in as the female lead for Bharat first, and she was even about to begin shooting for the film. And then Priyanka walked out, just about the movie had gone on floors, and the makers had to hurry to replace her with Katrina Kaif in the film. On various occasions, Salman had taken snide digs at the Baywatch actress, which also extended to the song launch of the film. In a media interaction, where the song "Zinda" from Bharat was being launched, Salman had another opportunity to troll PeeCee.

So during the interaction, Katrina Kaif was talking about how glad she was doing the role of Kumud in the film. As she was waxing her appreciation for the film, Salman Khan interjected in and said, "Thank you, Priyanka!" Ouch! Tabu Will Not Promote Salman Khan's Bharat and the Reason is Valid Enough.

When Priyanka left Bharat, that is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the reason she gave to the makers that she is getting married to Nick Jonas. Later, news came out that she was doing a Hollywood movie with Chris Pratt (that got shelved within two days of announcement). It was speculated that this movie was the reason why Priyanka didn't want to do Bharat and this is why Salman is angry with her. Bharat, meanwhile, is releasing on June 5.
