2017-2018 can be officially termed as the academic year of remakes. From Humma Humma, Tamma Tamma to the recently bashed remake of Ek Do Teen, the Bollywood fans got hands on several recreations of iconic songs from 90s and early 2000. The latest number to join the bandwagon is Salman Khan's blockbuster song 'O Oh Jaane Jana' from 1998 romcom, Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya starring Kajol, Arbaaz Khan. The remake will be done for Sooraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif's upcoming dance film, 'Time to Dance'. This debut directorial of Stanley D'costa will also have Salman shaking his leg on the song remake.

A source close to the development told Mumbai Mirror, "The singer of the original, Kamaal Khan, returns for the new version while the music has been composed by Shivai Vyas who is also currently working on Race 3, also featuring Salman with Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah. While the feel of the original has been retained for a nostalgia trip for Salman fans, the score will be more contemporary and catchy this time around."

The tabloid also suggests that their will be a huge lavish set created for this recreated song. Katrina Kaif's sister will be seen playing a competitive ballroom and Latin dancer while the 'Hero' actor will be seen playing a street dancer. The dance drama will also show dance forms from Salsa, Zumba, Bachata, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive. The project is bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar and chroreographer Remo D'souza. So, what do you think about the remake of this Jatin-Lalit  chartbuster ?
