Salman Khan who is currently busy with Race 3, will be next seen in Ali Abbas Zafar's 'Bharat'. The movie will show a common man's journey from 1947 to the present day, and through various locations.  The film is official adaptation of Korean film 'Ode to my father'. Now, it turns out that a segment in the film will also be inspired by Raj Kapoor's cult film 'Mera Naam Joker'. The film has a segment which will be based on the circus theme and for this, the makers are planning to take valuable inputs from Dharmendra who had a pivotal role in Mera Naam Joker.

As reported in Bollywood Hungama, the Sholay actor said, "Working with Raj Kapoor Saab was a dream come true for me. I had idolized him and Dilip Kumar Saab long before I became an actor, when he offered me a role in Mera Naam Joker I just grabbed it. No questions asked. Now when Salman who is very close to me and my family is doing something similar I’d be most happy to advise him in whatever way he wants."

Interestingly, Disha Patani has been roped in as a trapeze artist for this segment in the film. She has started prepping up for the role by learning the rope skills. Earlier, Zafar told a leading tabloid, "The pairing of Salman and Disha in a circus set-up in the ’60s is unusual and exciting. She is a promising star and for this character, we needed a girl who looked vulnerable and beautiful yet had the physicality of an athlete. Disha fit the bill perfectly." Now that we know what to expect from this particular patch of the film, let's see how Disha makes gold out of it.
