Salman Khan Thinks Jacqueline Fernandez Has Done 'Full Justice' to Baaghi 2 Song Ek Do Teen, Do You Agree?
While N Chandra and Saroj Khan are lashing out at the new version of Ek Do Teen, Salman Khan finds it impressive!
Baaghi 2 makers have already disappointed the fans with the release of iconic song ‘Ek Do Teen’ remake. Jacqueline Fernandez stepped into the shoes of Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Mohini’ for the Saroj Khan choreographed number and hell broke loose! The fans have had enough of remakes in the past and re-working on this Alka Yagnik classic is like the final nail in the coffin. While even the filmmaker N Chandra and Saroj Khan are not happy with this version, Salman Khan begs to differ. Dabangg Khan thinks that Jacqueline has done full justice to Ek Do Teen!
Praising his Race 3 co-star, Salman said, “Loved the song, Jackie has done full justice to the legendary moves of Saroj Khan. Difficult to match Madhuri. Nice to see Varun and Jackie to our songs make us proud n keeps d songs alive n fans listening, dancing n having a blast. Makes me proud. Enjoy Karo!”
While all the fans of dhak dhak girl are bashing the number, we are surprised to know that her Hum Apke Hai Kaun co-star is supporting it. Meanwhile, as per the reports in Quint, Saroj Khan and director N Chandra wish to take an action against the song.
The filmmaker told the portal, “I met Sarojji at Sridevi’s prayer meeting. It was there that Sarojji marched up to me to tell me about it. Can you imagine how much it had upset her that she needed to vent at such a solemn occasion? Anyway she came to me and said, ‘Have you seen what they’re doing to our Ek Do Teen number?’ I had no clue. Sarojji told me that the makers of Baaghi 2 were doing a new version of Ek Do Teen. She said she will take legal action against it.”
We don’t know whether you agree with Salman Khan, but we are with those majority of the fans, who feel it was unnecessary for the makers to dig this cult performance and remake it for the heck of an item song! What are your thoughts?
