Salman Khan on Pulwama Terror Attack: 'When We Heard About That, It Just Killed Us'

Salman Khan talks about the Pulwama terror attack and says terrorism is all about getting the wrong education.

After the horrific Pulwama terror attack that happened on February 14, everyone was left in shock and concern for the Indian soldiers who lost their lives and their families. While the entire nation came together to support the families of the martyrs. Bollywood too stood strong as they urged people to donate and made some big gestures themselves. After the incident, actor Salman Khan had also taken to Twitter to mourn the terror attack as he wrote, "My heart goes out for the Jawans of our beloved country and their families who lost their lives as martyrs to save our families... #YouStandForIndia". Currently, the actor is promoting his upcoming production Notebook which has a story based in Kashmir. At a recent interview, Salman was asked about Notebook's story being set in Kashmir and how the current situation has changed everything post the Pulwama terror attacks, talking about it, the actor said, "When we heard about that it just killed us. This film's backdrop is exactly the same that the kids come and lead the gun." He further added on how terrorism saying, "Everyone gets an education, but getting the right one is more important. On the film front, Salman has recently been confirmed to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next titled Inshallah. The film will also star Alia Bhatt and marks the collaboration of Salman and Sanjay Leela Bhansali after almost over two decades. In the meanwhile, his production, Notebook directed by Nitin Kakkar all set to release on March 29.
