Salman Khan Lands in Legal Trouble; Court Orders Probe Against Actor for Misbehaving With Journalist

Salman Khan lands in legal trouble yet again after a journalist named Ashok Pandey files a criminal complaint against the actor and two of his bodyguards for allegedly assaulting him despite he allegedly sought permission to take pictures and videos of the actor, who was on a bicycle. Mr Pandey has registered the case in the court of RR Khan, who is the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Andheri. A charge-sheet was filed for an offence under IPC sections 323 (causing hurt), 392 (robbery), and 506 (criminal intimidation). The scribe moved to court seeking registration of a First Information Report (FIR) as the cops refused to register a case of robbery and criminal intimidation or take any action against Salman. Talking about it, Mr Pandey, while in conversation with DNA, said, "I was confident the court would not turn me down the way the local Mumbai police had. For the uninitiated, the alleged incident took place in the wee hours of April 24 when Salman, who was escorted by two of his bodyguards, was riding a bicycle in the city and the Mumbai journalist, who spotted the bicycle enthusiast, started recording a video after seeking the consent of Khan's bodyguards. However, when the actor found the journalist filming him, lost his cool and snatched his phone and deleted two videos while his bodyguards thrashed Pandey. Stay tuned!
