Much hue and cry was raised over Priyanka Chopra's abrupt exit from Bharat just five days before the shoot was to begin. She had cited her upcoming marriage with Nick Jonas as the reason then, though soon after it was announced that she was going to be the female lead in the Hollywood film, Cowboy Ninja Viking. While director Ali Abbas Zafar had taken the decision sportingly, Salman Khan is still seething from her exit. Even though he has never gone all out on her, Salman has been making slight digs at Priyanka whenever he is asked about her.

Like recently during the launch of Bigg Boss 12, Salman Khan revealed that it was Katrina Kaif, who later replaced Priyanka in Bharat, was always the first choice for the role and it was Priyanka who insisted to be a part of the film.  He had said, "I'm glad Katrina is part of the film. She was Atul's (Atul Agnihotri, the producer of Bharat) first choice. But Priyanka called Ali and said she wanted to do Bharat, so we considered her."

Salman then took a dig at her abrupt exit, as he added, "t was sweet of her to tell us five days before the shoot that she couldn't do Bharat. I hope the other movie (Cowboy Ninja Viking) that she has signed, works out. Now that she is engaged, we are happy for her. I hope she gets married soon, has children and lives happily ever after." Didn't anyone tell Salman that Cowboy Ninja Viking has been indefinitely postponed and probably shelved? Or does he know about this and just taking Priyanka's case?

Interestingly, Salman's sister Arpita Khan Sharma had made peace with Priyanka and had even attended her roka ceremony. But Bhai has no mood to make amends.
