The buzz was that Priyanka Chopra has been approached for the film that is just on the lines of Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. However, as per the latest reports in Mid-Day, the superstar Khan has shown reservations regarding romancing the Desi girl. It is yet unconfirmed and unknown as to why the Dabangg Khan has this hesitation working with the star who has worked with him several movies like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Salaam-E-Ishq and God Tussi Great Ho.

One of the reasons that are being speculated is her sudden exit from his upcoming film Bharat. Bhai was all happy and welcomed PC on board with great enthusiasm only to find her leaving the project mid-way. Post this, the makers had to replace her at the last moment with Katrina Kaif.

The reports of him being miffed with PeeCee started doing the rounds on the internet. However, he quashed those rumours simply by attending the wedding reception hosted by her and husband-singer, Nick Jonas.

During the rapid-fire segment on Karan Johar's chat show Koffee With Karan 6, Priyanka even said that she is in talks with Bhansali and Vishal Bhardwaj for their respective films. Now that the discussion about the same is on, we wonder what hurdle has come across from Salman's end.
