Salman Khan, the name is enough to represent this notorious case. But mind you it was not just the superstar bhai who was involved in this case. But such is the bad name the man has earned for himself and such is the notoriety that goes with him, that Salman stands, as always, as the case in point. As if Salman Khan was the only one who ventured into the woods to shoot down black bucks in the aforementioned case. Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam and Tabu who have been reportedly slapped with charges for involving themselves in the same criminal act remain out of the headlines for some odd reason.

Let us make you revisit the case to get a better perspective. It so happened that  during the shoot of Sooraj Barjatiya's popular film Hum Saath Saath Hain which was released in 1997, Salman Khan  reportedly went on a shooting expedition along with his HSSH co-stars Saif Ali Kha,  Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu. Apparently two black bucks were killed in the Kankani area of Jodhpur in that hunting spree.

This had evoked much anger and dissent as the  local community, by the name Bishnoi, worship the black buck as they believe that black buck is the reincarnation of their religious Guru Bhagwan Jambeshwar. Soon after the much protest and anger, the community filed a case against against the aforementioned Bollywood stars. Slapped with serious charges for their offences these B-town stars appointed their lawyers to present the case, if not to defend themselves out-rightly.

And now we hear that after attending the previous session in the court on March 28, the new verdict of which will be announced on April 5, which has been ruled by the court in Jodhpur in Rajasthan. What has caught our immediate attention is that while Salman Khan and his lawyer always remain in the headlines for reportedly being accused, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam Remain almost untouched--and definitely remain out of the headlines. The 52-year-old superstar continues to be in the news. Even the other celebrities and their lawyers, in particular, remain unheard of for some mysterious reason!
