As per a report by PTI, special judge BD Shelke acknowledged the chargesheet filed by the Mumbai police against the suspects, which included some serious allegations of them plotting to assassinate the Bollywood superstar. Salman Khan Records Statement in Firing Case

Ever since the horrifying incident of the firing incident that took place outside Salman Khan's Bandra residence, the Mumbai police have been tirelessly investigating the case and recording several statements from the Bollywood actor and his family. As per the latest updates, Salman Khan shared some key details regarding the case on June 4 and also stated that he is sure about gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's involvement in the case. A 1,735-page chargesheet was filed by the Mumbai police last month, where the actor revealed hearing a "cracker-like" sound on April 14.

The statement read, "I heard a cracker-like sound. Then, at around 4:55 AM, the police bodyguard said that two people on a bike had fired from a weapon at the Galaxy Apartment's first-floor balcony. There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well. I have learned from social media that Lawrence Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the attack. So, I believe that it is Lawrence Bishnoi's gang who has carried out the firing on my balcony." The Mumbai police have registered a case against 17 people, including Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang. The arrested are Vicky Gupta, Sagarkumar Pal, Sonu Bishnoi, Anujkumar Thapan, Mohammed Rafiq Choudhary, and Harpal Singh. Thapan died by suicide while in police custody. Salman Khan has been reportedly provided with Y-plus security by the Mumbai police.
