Arrested YouTuber Sent to Police Custody Till June 18
In the latest development, the 25-year-old who threatened Salman Khan through a video posted on his YouTube channel has been sent to police custody until June 18 by a court. In the video shared by Gujar, he said, "Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar and other gang members are with me, and I am going to kill Salman Khan as he has not apologised yet."
The video was recorded and uploaded from a Rajasthan highway, where the police traced the IP address to reach the culprit. DCP Datta Nalawade told TOI that considering the seriousness of the case, an anti-extortion team led by Inspector Arun Thorat was sent to Bundi village in Rajasthan to nab Gujar. He has been charged under relevant IPC sections, including Section 506 (2) (punishment for criminal intimidation) and the Information Technology Act. So far, the police have arrested six people in the case, one of them passed away in custody. As confirmed, the man claiming responsibility for the firing is gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
