Bollywood takes deep efforts to make their fans give the special visual treat through the films. When it comes to a Salman Khan film, one can expect a lot of serene locations. Race 3 is also a fine example of the same. To the delight of the fans, the Race 3 crew has got the permission to shoot at the endangered Thajiwas glaciers in Jammu and Kashmir's Sonamarg. The path was restricted due to environment reasons, but the crew took care of the rules before going ahead. Those who are wondering about the location, this place is the same one where movies like Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan were shot.

A source close to the development, told Mumbai Mirror, “Around 10 battery-driven cars have been provided to the Race 3 crew to shoot at Thajiwas glacier. The local line producer, Khawar Jamshed (who has previously facilitated shooting of films like Rockstar and Jab Tak Hai Jaan in the area), handles all major Bollywood shoot in Kashmir and has made sure that this one goes smoothly as well.”

In fact, after the crew agreed to all the terms and conditions, Dabangg Khan left for Sonamarg to meet the locals over dinner. These locals were the ones whom he bonded with during the shoot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In fact, Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez shot at the same spot where Kabir Khan had shot Bajrangi Bhaijaan earlier. Other than Kashmir, the flick has also been shot in the locations of Emirates Palace, Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi, the St. Regis Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Emirates Steel and Liwa Desert in Abu Dhabi.
