In a bizarre turn of events, YouTuber Sohail Pasha, who wrote a song about Salman Khan, has been arrested for allegedly threatening the actor and demanding a ransom.

YouTuber Sohail Pasha, the man behind the lyrics of the song "Main Sikandar Hoon" dedicated to Salman Khan, was apprehended in Karnataka on Tuesday (November 12) by Mumbai Police. Pasha is accused of threatening the actor and demanding a substantial ransom of INR 5 crore. Reportedly, the lyricist who was also a target of the threat has emerged as the prime suspect. Sohail Pasha Arrested For Threatening Salman Khan

According to reports, the arrested individual, who penned and posted the "Main Sikandar Hoon" song on social media platforms, has been handed over to the Worli police for further investigation. For the unversed, on the night of November 7, a threat was directed at both Salman Khan and the lyricist of his upcoming song. The threat message, sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police Control Room, demanded a ransom of INR 5 crore. The sender's message read, “The songwriter's condition will be so bad that he won't be able to write songs by his own name. If Salman Khan has the courage, then he should save him.”

Following the threat, a police team was dispatched to Karnataka to interrogate Vyankatesh Narayan, the owner of the phone number from which the threat was sent. However, it was discovered that Narayan's phone lacked internet connectivity. Further investigation revealed that Narayan's phone had received a WhatsApp installation OTP on November 3rd. Narayan recounted that on that day, a stranger had asked to borrow his phone to make a call in a local marketplace. The investigation uncovered that the alleged culprit had used Narayan's phone number to obtain a WhatsApp OTP and subsequently installed the app. This led the crime branch team to Sohail Pasha in Manavi village near Raichur. In recent months, the Mumbai Traffic Police helpline has received a concerning number of threat messages targeting Salman Khan. At least four such threats have been reported.
