Salman Khan Comes to Saroj Khan's Rescue after She Runs out of Work, Dabangg 3 Might Bring the Duo Back Together
For the past many years, the ace choreographer Saroj Khan has been facing a shortage of work and on learning about the same, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan came to her rescue and promised her to be on her side.
Be it Madhuri Dixit’s gracious dance moves to Sushmita Sen’s ‘thumkas’ in the ’90s, Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan was the one to be given the credit. However, for the past many years, the ace choreographer has been facing a shortage of work and she recently lashed out at the industry for not offering her any work. On learning about the same, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan came to her rescue and promised her to be on her side. Saroj Khan opened about the same during a conversation with MidDay. She said, “When we met, Salman asked me what I was doing nowadays. So I told him honestly that I don't have any work [film offers], and that I am teaching Indian classical dance to young actresses. Upon hearing that, he said, 'Now, you will work with me'. I know he is a man of his word, so he will keep his promise.”
Salman and Saroj have worked together in many films including Biwi Ho Toh Aisi, Biwi No. 1, Andaz Apna Apna, among the others. Reports further state that the duo will come together for Salman’s upcoming venture Dabangg 3. Apparently, Salman and the choreographer had their distances during Andaz Apna Apna, as the actor thought she was favouring Aamir khan over him. The Dabangg star even obliged her wish to meet her grandson who had been unwell. She said, “My 13-year-old grandson, Aryan, has been unwell for some time now. Being an ardent fan of Salman, he had expressed his wish to meet him. So, I had approached Sandhya [Ramachandran], who is part of his NGO Being Human. Next thing you know, Salman invited us over to his residence. He was so warm to Aryan and clicked many pictures with him. Salman also told him that when he gets better, he can join him on his film set.”
On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his next film, Bharat. The actor will soon start shooting for Dabangg 3. His movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, co-starring Alia Bhatt, has been titled Inshallah and will go on floors soon.
