Salman Khan's next hearing on blackbuck poaching case is scheduled for November 29.
An order was given by CJM Rural Court to hear arguments in the black buck poaching case against Bollywood star Salman Khan after hearing on two pleas on Thursday. The actor is accused of misleading the court and if proven guilty, he may face imprisonment for maximum seven years. The charge against Salman is that he moved an application in the court seeking exemption from personal appearance. He pleaded that he was not well due to severe pain in his ear. The actor was earlier convicted in the blackbuck poaching case on April 5 and he was booked under Section 9/51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act. The actor was even sentenced to five-year imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000. Later, however, he was released on bail on a bond of Rs 50,000 and two sureties of like amount by a District and Sessions court. The Bishnoi community was then unhappy with the bail verdict ruling in the actor's favour. According to the India Today report, they had decided to move to the Rajasthan High Court against the actor as they expected to get the justice there. We now wait to hear the verdict on this new hearing.
