Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is in a new controversy. As per the latest reports, the farmers of Ballowal village of Ludhiana were upset with the makers. A recreated set of Wagah Border was erected in the farms of Ludhiana and apparently did not get the permission. However, the makers slammed the reports saying they shot peacefully and had the support of the people in the village.

The director of the film, Ali Abbas Zafar told Hindustan Times, “Nothing of this sort has happened. These are just some rumours that have been floating. We have been shooting very peacefully here. Earlier, a picture from the set was released by the Bharat makers which piqued the curiosity of the fans. You can see a dapper Salman standing alongside a curly-haired Katrina Kaif who has donned a red saree. With their backs to the camera, we can assume that this might be one of the important scenes in the flick. It's based on Korean drama An Ode to my Father and also stars Disha Patani, Sunil Grover, Jackie Shroff in the lead.
