Salman Khan-Aishwarya Rai, Alia Bhatt-Sidharth Malhotra, Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif - How Sonam Kapoor's Wedding Reception Brought Exes Under One Roof

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja wedding reception was one grand affair, with nearly the entire Bollywood partying under one roof. We have seen videos of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan leading the couple to the dance floor, while Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan led the young brigade. Not to mention the ever-young father of the bride, Anil Kapoor's energetic enthusiasm. From Shah Rukh and Salman singing Karan Arjun songs to Sonam's mother, Sunita Kapoor to Ranveer and Arjun Kapoor going on a drunken Insta story, it was one place and one night where you wished you should have been if you are a Bollywood fan!

It was also a night that brought some of the popular exes, who mostly are not on talking terms with each other, also under one roof. We don't know how the reunion worked, or if they even interacted, but it might have brought quite some awkward face-offs.

Like Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. They had one of the worst breakups in Bollywood, before she went on to marry Abhishek Bachchan. While the Bachchans are still in cordial terms with Salman, we have never seen Ash and Salman interact ever. There was Salman's other ex, Katrina Kaif, but we know that they have since patched up, though as friends. Meanwhile, Abhishek was also brought closer to Karisma Kapur. whom he was once nearly engaged to.

Speaking of Katrina Kaif, she also had to party under the same roof as her last boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor. Interestingly, it was rumoured that Ranbir had dated the bride Sonam when they were shooting for Saawariya. BTW, what's going on between Ranbir and Alia? Are they making it official as a couple? If that's true, it would be super-awkward for Sidharth Malhotra who was there at the reception too.

Akshay Kumar has been linked with quite a many actresses (pre and post wedding to Twinkle Khanna). One such actress was Shilpa Shetty who was there for Sonam's reception with husband Raj Kundra, while Akshay was there with Twinkle.

How can we forget Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan? Both came with their respective spouses, sans the kids. After the breakup, they did Udta Punjab but didn't share a single scene in the movie. We are sure they might not have shared a single word at the party too, though Saif and Shahid might have had some conversation over ol' Rangoon days considering Kangana Ranaut was there too (no...Hrithik Roshan skipped!).

Sonam's cousin Arjun Kapoor used to date Salman's sister Arpita, before he entered Bollywood. Arpita went on to marry Aayush Sharma, though there are still cold vibes out there. While Salman is close to Arjun's father, Boney Kapoor, as well as the rest of the family, we are not sure of his equation with Arjun.

Well, like they say, Bollywood is like one big family who comes together for that one big function despite their differences. Just make sure you have the songs on a loop and the booze flowing!
