Saira Banu took to actor Dilip Kumar's official Twitter account to request Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to intervene in her case against land mafia, Samir Bhojwani. The builder had falsely claimed that he is the owner of the two plots on which veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s bungalow was built. Saira Banu had approached the Mumbai police and filed a police complaint against him for the same. He was later booked for the charges but on released on bail recently. In January this year, Economic Offences Wing of the Mumbai Police had registered a cheating case against him. While the complaint was filed in January, he was arrested in April after the officials raided his home and seized weapons including knives and daggers. Officials suspected that he had forged documents to grab Dilip Kumar’s property in Pali Hill, Bandra.
Chief Minister, Devendra Fadnavis had earlier assured the veteran actress that strict and necessary action will be taken against the accused. However, after his recent release, Saira Banu is shaken and worried at the same time. We now wait to see if Prime Minister decides to intervene to solve the matter.
