Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital after being stabbed multiple times by an unidentified robber at his Bandra residence early Thursday, January 16. The attack reportedly took place around 2.30 AM when Saif was asleep with his family. Details of the incident are still unclear, but according to reports, the robber barged into the actor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s home and stabbed him before fleeing the scene when the family members woke up. A senior IPS officer has shared that Saif Ali Khan is receiving treatment at Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai, and his condition is being closely monitored. Niraj Uttamani, CEO of Lilavati Hospital, shared, “Saif Ali Khan was brought to Lilavati (hospital) at 3-30 am. He has six injuries of which two are deeper. One of the injuries is closer to his spine. We are operating on him. He is being operated upon by Neurosurgeon Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Leena Jain anaesthetist Nisha Gandhi. We will be tell extent of damage only after the surgery is done,” reports HT.
As per Mumbai Police, Late last night, an unidentified individual entered actor Saif Ali Khan’s residence and got into an argument with his maid, reports ANI. When Saif tried to intervene and calm the situation, the man attacked him, injuring the actor. The Mumbai Police are currently investigating the incident.
