Singer Sadhana Sargam, a popular voice in Bollywood and regional films has turned 44-year-old today. The acclaimed singer was born on March 7, 1969, only to be a gift to musical world of Bollywood. Many of her fans might know the fact that her journey towards playback singing started when she was just 4-years-old under the guidance of her mother Neela Ghanekar, a classical singer. Sargam first shined on Doordarshan at the age of six, after she sang Sooraj ek chanda ek tare anek, and the rest is history!
The melodious singer who has worked in musical tours in US, UK, Malaysia and more earlier told in an interview to IANS, "I understand that with time, music changes and it will continue to change after every 10 or 15 years. The 90s' music had lyrical value. We used to understand each and every line. Now after a line or two because of loud music, it (lyrics) goes out of mind. If lyrics are good, then people will remember it for a long time."
