Sacred Games' Rajshri Deshpande Called 'Porn Star' By Trolls After Her Nude Scene Gets Leaked

It says something about our society that despite power-packed performances in S Durga and Sacred Games, it took a nude scene from people to take notice of actress Rajshri Deshpande. The actress shook the morality of the puritans when she went topless for a lovemaking scene with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the much talked about Netflix show. She had played Subhadra, the feisty, opinionated wife of Nawaz's character Gaitonde in Sacred Games.

Sadly, as expected from some perverted minds, the scene has been turned into a WhatsApp video and has been circulated as a porn clip. It has also been uploaded on many sleazy sites. Following which, the actress, who had made her debut with Aamir Khan's Talaash, had been pestered with messaged from trolls who had the audacity to call her a 'porn star'.

A disgruntled Rajshri recently shared her woes to Spotboye.com, where she revealed, "In Sacred Games too, we have a lovemaking scene. It was a big thing for me to open up my blouse, but I did it. But little did I know that my pictures from that scene will start circulating on WhatsApp. Collages have been made saying: Hot Indian Actress With Mangalsutra! And, the scene has made way to porn sites."

Continuing on how she was pestered by trolls after the video got leaked, Rajshri said, "Worse still, I am getting messages saying that I am a porn star. What do I do but ignore? Some of the comments are terribly cheap. I believe in (Anurag) Kashyap, he had told me about the scene beforehand and even said that he won’t go ahead if I am uncomfortable. Titillation is dancing in micro-minis and bras. My scene in Sacred Games was pure love. My character was opening herself in front of a man for the first time. The hatred in her for him had transformed into love"

This also reminds us of the time when Radhika Apte (who also played the lead in Sacred Games) had her nude scenes from Parched and Madly getting leaked online.

Rajshri Deshpande, however, has support from home, as her husband is quite cool with her nude scene. She told the website, "He supports me. He said, ‘You are giving your soul, and if that requires you to go naked, do it if you believe in it, you don’t need any permission. I am in a happy space.”

It is not just Rajshri Deshpande who went nude in the series. Even Kubra Sait and Jatin Sarna had gone dare-bare for Sacred Games. But like Games of Thrones, there is more to Sacred Games than just shocking nudity. Hope the people realise that one day!
