Now we are in 2019, and our movies have crossed Rs 200, Rs 300 and even Rs 500 crore mark. Being in the club of the highest grossers is no longer a privilege of an Aamir Khan or a Salman Khan, as Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor have shown the audiences last year. Crossing the Rs 100 crore benchmark is no longer a benchmark of calling a film a hit, thanks to the increasing budgets of films, which is why Thugs of Hindostan is deemed a flop.
