Just ahead of the Republic Day, the makers of Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) have dropped the teaser of the film. Starring John Abraham and Mouni Roy in the lead, the patriotic drama is reportedly based on true events.  The makers earlier released the first look of the film where we could see John in an 80s avatar with thick parted hair and sweater. In the newly released teaser of RAW, we can see John's character and a voicover of his on-screen mom telling him tales of his father and Republic day. Then, we see a blood smeared John who is too bruised yet determined to get up. With Mohammed Rafi's track "Ae watan ae watan humko teri kasam" from film Shaheed (1965), the makers take us along the journey of the character.

At first we see a vulnerable character played by John and then there's a shift by the end of the teaser where we see a dapper John. Throughout the teaser, we see various looks of the actor, leaving us curious about all the scenes. Considering the fact that he is playing a spy in the film, we are not surprised that he disguised himself into so many human beings.

The film is directed by by Robbie Grewal who also previously made films like Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar and Samay: When Time Strikes. Speaking of John, he is known to play such roles with ace, don't you remember his films Force, Parmanu and Satyamev Jayate? The film is slated to release on April 12 this year and looks like a visual treat already!
