It has been a little over 10 months since Rishi Kapoor moved to New York, temporarily, for treatment of an ailment that was undisclosed for a long time. Recently, in an interview, the actor confirmed that he was suffering from cancer which is in remission now. He should be returning home any time now. He said that he has a film that he has committed to and needs to start shooting for it in September. Today, as days of his arriving in India come closer, the actor took to his Twitter handle and shared a tweet that says just how much he missed being home. Rishi Kapoor Reveals He'll Resume his Work on a Project After he Returns to India in September.

The actor said something that many will relate to. Despite all the oddities that we face on a daily basis, which quite frankly could be annoying, the home remains home. Rishi wrote, "Confession. Living in this concrete jungle (Manhattan)for so long,you don’t get to see much of the sky.Yesterday was by the riverside,saw and heard an aircraft soar above. In an interview to Mirror Rishi Kapoor speaking about his return to Mumbai was quoted saying, “Yes, I am trying to return by August-end, depending on what the doctors at the hospital say. I have recovered well and I am feeling good. Must be 100% fit by the time I am back.” We are also eagerly waiting for the paparazzi pictures of Rishi Kapoor arriving at the airport.
