Sheila Dixit is known to be the longest-serving CM, holding the post for 15 years from 1998 to 2013. She also served as Governor of Kerala from March 2014 to August 2014. She suffered a cardiac arrest at 3.15 pm and breathed her last at 3.55 pm, as informed by Dr Ashok Seth, Director of Escorts Fortis.
