Rekha has such a fascinating career graph that anybody will envy her. She started early and would often get criticised for her looks and weight. But she emerged like a phoenix to become one of the most ravishing-looking women in the industry who has incredible acting chops. What's terrific about her is the lady experimented with her roles in all the decades that she was actively doing cinema. From being a demure damsel in distress to a whip-yielding woman avenging her death to a seductress to a protective mother, she has done it all! Every time she did something different, she would become the talk of the town. That's the aura of Rekha. Rekha Serves Panache in Manish Malhotra's Golden Anarkali and Extravagant Head Piece for Vogue Arabia (View Pics).

But what's equally interesting is that Rekha has been the voice for many leading ladies and most of them were part of Amitabh Bachchan's movies. We have brought to you three such instances where Rekha voiced the ladies Big B falls for in his movies.

Sridevi - Akhree Raasta

Apparently, Sridevi had slight issues with the Hindi diction and hence, Rekha stepped in. We are all aware of what a good friend Sridevi and Rekha were with the latter often praising Sridevi for her histrionics.

Neetu Singh - Yaarana

This might come as a shock for many but Rekha dubbed for Neetu Singh in Bachchan's Yaarana too. It is said that Singh had a clogged schedule and hence wasn't available to dub for her scenes. Rekha again stepped in.

Jayasudha & Soundarya - Sooryavansham

It's simply amazing how audience in the 90s accepted anything that was served to them. Rekha voiced both Jayasudha and Soundarya in Amitabh Bachchan's cult classic Sooryavansham. We wonder why didn't anyone talk about it more at that time. Annoyed With Sooryavansham’s Reruns on SET Max, Viewer Writes to Channel Complaining About Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Cult’ Movie; Hilarious Letter Goes Viral!.

And to think of it there are reports suggesting Rekha's weak grasp on Hindi. For someone like that to become a voice for so many ladies, now that's what we call a winning attitude!
