This week John Abraham's espionage thriller Romeo Akbar Walter is arriving in theatres. Initially, Vivek Oberoi starrer PM Narendra Modi biopic was also set to release alongside RAW. However, the controversial political film will now hit the screens on April 12. Coming back to John starrer, the film is directed by Robby Grewal and also features Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikander Kher in important roles. The trailer of the film, which came out not too long ago, was quite impressive and got everyone excited for the espionage thriller. Also, John has been doing patriotic films lately and has found success in the genre as well. So expectations are high from this one too. RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter Movie Review: John Abraham and Mouni Roy’s Spy Drama Is a Stirring Saga of Effective Thrills and Surprises.

Looking at John's recent box office track record, it's pretty much likely that the actor's latest offering will do good business at the ticket windows. After all, when John is in action mode, he never fails to charm the audience, right? But what do trade pundits think about RAW and its box office fate? Well, according to them Romeo Akbar Walter will rake in over Rs 6 crore on day 1 and overall will fare well at the box office in India.

While trade experts have given out their prediction, we think RAW will witness a really good opening now that it's having a solo release. Plus, the film has been garnering positive reviews from the critics so there is a possibility that John starrer could actually mint around Rs 8 to 9 crore on its first day. John Abraham Starrer Romeo Akbar Walter Gets a Green Signal From CBFC, Two Verbal Cuts Ordered.

Hollywood superhero film Shazam! is also coming out tomorrow but it will hardly pose any threat to John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter. Set against the backdrop of India-Pakistan war of 1971, RAW was supposed to be made with Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead. But the actor backed off from the project due to his prior commitments.
