While her decision was praised and appreciated by many industry folks and her admirers, Raveena Tandon was mighty upset with the same. She even slammed the Dangal actress for being ungrateful towards this industry. However, as soon as a video claiming that Zaira was forced to exit from Bollywood and she was pressurised to take this decision surfaced online, Raveena had a change of thought. She, in fact, was saddened to imaging the teenager's state of mind. The actress tweeted saying, "If this is true and the reason for her to quit, if she was or is under pressure, then I do feel sad for the girl. Was she forced into writing the long statement by radicals out of fear? She was a role model to so many youngsters with dreams and inspirations that they could achieve. It was commendable to see the actress realise her 'harshness' and even acknowledge it in public. "I wish her luck and strength. After seeing this, I now regret my first immediate tweet after reading her statement," she tweeted further. The authenticity of this video is yet to be verified and we hope the air around it gets cleared very soon. Meanwhile, Zaira will be next seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky is Pink though she has decided not to join its promotions.
